The rule will:

  • Make sure taxpayers receive millions of dollars each year in royalties,
  • Reduce smog and pollution from methane—a greenhouse gas 84 times more powerful than carbon dioxide, and
  • Create jobs to capture and sell methane.

But Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is working to gut this common sense rule.

Four grassroots leaders are heading to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday to roundup support to Save the Methane Waste Prevention Rule.
