Oregon Rural Action members started Valentine’s Day celebrations early on Friday, Feb. 12. Members gathered at the organization’s La Grande headquarters for the “Love Your ORA” open house.
The open house drew three dozen members to hear the latest on ORA’s campaigns and projects while sipping local wine and craft beer. Members were invited to participate in ORA’s campaigns:
- To win an equitable, affordable, comprehensive, high quality, publicly funded universal health care system in Oregon.
- To make moving oil by rail safer for communities in Oregon.
- To create safe habitat for pollinators and protect communities from unsafe pesticides.
- To pass a Healthy Climate Bill in the state legislature to limit climate pollution and transition to clean energy.
